Post University Women's Soccer Falls to New Haven 6-0

Waterbury, Conn. (August 27, 2009) Post University's Women's Soccer team fell to New Haven Thursday at Lamoy Field 6-0.

In the first half New Haven came out strong scoring three goals in the first half.  The game winning goal came 7:38 into the contest when Lucy Francisco beat Eagle freshman goalkeeper Cassie Michel. 

The chargers were led in scoring by junior Emily Buckley-Matura with 3 goals, two in the first half and one in the second. The Eagles were outshot by New Haven 18-11. 

Post University's Women's Soccer team will be back in action at home on Saturday against Bentley. Game time is set for 1pm.
