Men's Basketball Defeats Bridgeport 81-77

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (November 20, 2009) Post University's Men's Basketball team picked up its first win of the 2009-2010 season at Bridgeport 81-77. Trevon Hamlet scored a game high 26 points.

The Eagles trailed by 9 at the half, making only 15 of 38 attempts from the floor.

With 9:57 left to play Bridgeport looked to be well on their way to victory with a 14 points led, which was the highest of the game. From that point Post University went on an 18-2 run to take a 4 point led with only 2:28 to play.

Bridgeport went scoreless in the final minute giving the Eagles their first win of the season.

Post University will be in action again Saturday at Bridgeport against New York Tech. Game time is set for 4pm.
