WATERBURY, Conn (October 13, 2009) A goal by Susan Curran was not enough for Post University to defeat Caldwell College Tuesday afternoon at home. The Eagles now have a 3-9 record overall.

Caldwell College scored first in the opening half when Nicole Laureigh broke down the right side, shooting the ball past Eagles keeper Elizabeth Johnson. The Cougars would maintain that advantage at halftime to lead 1-0.

Post University came back to tie the game 20 minutes into the second half. Curran scored after Sabrina Sinopoli redirected a free kick from Rachel Shivers.

Caldwell took a 2-1 advantage on a free kick opportunity. Laureigh scored her second of the game when Nikki D'Orsaneo had a free kick opportunity to assist the game winning goal.

The Eagles will be in action again on  Saturday at Georgian Court.
