Post University Athletics

AnnMarie Nelson returned to Post University, joining Women's Volleyball Head Coach Tiffany Verni as an Assistant Coach, in August 2024 after spending three seasons as the Director of Basketball Operations at Sacred Heart University. 

Nelson graduated from Post in 2020 with her Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management with a minor in Marketing before going on to get her MBA in Marketing in 2021. During her time in Waterbury, she played on both the Women's Volleyball for four seasons and Basketball team and two seasons. Off the court, Nelson had a brief stint as an intern in the athletics department before joining the Pioneers.

In her three years with the Sacred Heart Women's Basketball program, the Pioneers won two Northeast Conference Championships and during their 2022-23 NCAA Tournament trip, won their first tournament game in program history against Southern University in the First Four, 57-47. 

Nelson is originally from Draper, Utah.
