Amanda Webster

Amanda joined Post University Athletic Training staff in August 2022. She is a 2008 graduate of Southern Connecticut State University’s Athletic Training program. Prior to Post, Amanda was as the Head Athletic Trainer for Fisk University, Lehman College, Sacred Heart University Club Sports Program and Upper Merion Area School District. Additionally, she has served with US soccer, USA Triathlon, USA Cycling, USA Gymnastics, the Danbury Whalers, USA Fencing, American College Cricket, and the Steadman Hawkins Clinic.

Amanda’s professional service opportunities include serving as a member of the BOC practice analysis pilot study and Pennsylvania Department of Health’s Traumatic Brain Injury Initiative. Her research on Hypermobility Syndromes in Division II Collegiate Female Gymnasts was presented at the Connecticut Athletic Trainers Symposium.

Amanda is a former Level 10 gymnast and was a 2-year member of SCSU’s Track and Field team. Her personal experience with sports-related injuries lead to her career in sports medicine.

Amanda volunteers with the special Olympics, local animal rescues and enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband Ben.
