    Assistant Softball Coach
Paul Raccio enters his second year as assistant softball coach in 2014-15. He has served as the hitting coach and helped develop and implement the team’s strength and conditioning program.

Prior to Post, Raccio served as the head coach at Young Harris College for one season. At Young Harris he transitioned the program into its first all Division II schedule. In his one season with the Mountain Lions, he amassed a 27-27 overall record and improved all offensive and pitching statistics from the previous year. Two of his players were named Capital One Academic All-District.

From 2005-2012, Raccio was an assistant coach at Southern Connecticut State University. In 2012, he helped lead the Owls to a #6 ranking in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Coaches Poll and their first-ever College World Series appearance with a 40-10 record. Five student-athletes were named NFCA All-Region and one earned All-American status. Brittany Bucko was named Daktronics East Region Player of the Year and first team All-American.

Raccio also served as the Athletic Director and baseball coach at Hyde Leadership High School. He holds a two-star NFCA Master Coaching Certification and is a graduate of the University of Connecticut. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree at Southern Connecticut.
