Pat Yannarelli was named the fifth coach in Post University Men's Lacrosse program history in September 2023.

In each of his first two seasons, Yannarelli guided the Eagles to above .500 records and the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Semifinals for the second and third consecutive seasons. The 2024 season finished with Post having a 10-8 record under Yannarelli, tying the 2023 squad for the most single-season wins in program history.

Post Men's Lacrosse garnered 11 All-Conference recipients between 2024 and 2025, setting the program record in back-to-back seasons under Yannarelli for most All-Conference honors with five in 2024 and then six in 2025. Additionally, the Eagles landed their first All-American in school history in 2024, Tim Keefe, with Yannarelli at the helm.

Yannarelli came to Post University after spending nine seasons at Lourdes University in Toledo, Ohio in which he compiled an overall record of 80-50 after being hired in 2013 to start up the Division II NAIA program.

During his time with the Gray Wolves, Yannarelli accumulated a number of accolades including being named WHAC and CCLA Conference Coach of the Year three times, the 2016 NAIA National Coach of the Year, and was a four-time Champions of Character Coach of the Year. While at Lourdes, he served as the Director of Champions of Character, creating the program and achieving the first five-star Gold-level rating at the university.

Addtionally, Yannarelli coached eight All-Americans, a Newcomer and Defensive Player of the Year, and served on the NAIA Coaches' Council as the secretary.

Prior to his time at Lourdes, Yannarelli spent two years at Butler High School in North Carolina where he put together back-to-back seasons in which his team recorded program-high win totals as well as coached five all-conference players.

Collegiately, Yannarelli also coached at SUNY Morrisville for two seasons, helping them transition from a two-year program to a four-year program and led College of Mount Saint Vincent in their first three seasons as a Men's Lacrosse program.

A 2001 graduate from Greensboro College, Yannarelli obtained his Bachelors of Science in Sports & Exercise Science before going on to get his masters in Sports Management at SUNY Cortland.
