Ken Sinclair

Ken Sinclair enters his sixth season with Post University’s men’s basketball program. A former standout at the University of New Haven, Sinclair brings a wealth of basketball knowledge to the Eagles' bench.

Sinclair began coaching the junior college level where he coached at Mattatuck Community College, a team that finished third and ninth in the nation respectively. During that time he recruited and coached four junior college All-Americans.

Sinclair coached at the high school level at Holy Cross in Waterbury helping the Crusaders win two state titles and nine league championships. He has coached many years at the AAU level where he won four state titles as the head coach of the North End Recreation and Connecticut Elite Basketball programs.

He is a retired state adult probation officer who is skilled in conditioning techniques designed to build endurance and agility.

As a college athlete, he was a two-time captain of the University of New Haven and holds the single game assist record with 16. He graduated as the all time leader in steals and assists along with being a 1,000 point scorer.

Ken holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Science.

He resides in Waterbury with his wife Noreen and two children Keneisha and K.J.
