Since Coach Aviña has joined the coaching staff in 2022 he has developed a strong culture of excellence for infield play. The 2024 season was highlighted by an Eagles infield collectively only committing 12 errors in 49 games fielding .984.

Coach Aviña has also continued his passion for infield play in the summer as he is the Infield Coordinator/Assistant Coach for the Bristol Blues who compete in the NECBL, a top tier summer collegiate league in the country. The 2023 summer season also brought a league leading .979 fielding percentage and league low 32 errors in 43 that helped the Blues make their first ever NECBL championship appearance.

Aviña graduated from Clarke with his degree in business management. He earned valuable coaching experience while working for Elite Baseball in Orange, CA. While at Elite, Aviña was mainly an instructor, but also contributed to the organization of yearly recruiting events.
