Head Coach Ray Skjold has announced that Howard Rebhun has joined the Post University coaching staff. Rebhun will mainly serve as the Assistant Pitching Coach, but will also oversee responsibilities in a lot of different fields this year. Recruiting, organizing video, data/analytics, scouting reports, stats, organizing practices, fungos, and much more. He also serves as the first base coach.
“Howard Rebhun has made an immediate impact on our program in his short time being on staff", said Head Coach Ray Skjold.
Rebhun joins the coaching staff this year after being a pitcher on the team the last 5 years, coming in as a freshman in fall of 2019. Recruited as an ambidextrous pitcher, he continued to do so at Post pitching in a couple different seasons including making one start against Bluefield State. He ended his collegiate career by being part of the 2024 CACC Championship Team.
Rebhun has a lot of coaching experience under his belt already, coaching travel baseball for nearly the last decade out of a couple different facilities,namely Diamondkings and the Bristol Sports Armory. Most recently in the summer of 2024, he was the manager of a U16 travel ball team while also being an assistant coach of the Southington Knights in the Connecticut Collegiate Baseball League.
Rebhun will be taking on a new role in the Summer of 2025, becoming an Assistant Coach for the Bristol Blues in the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL).
