Evan Evans begins his inaugural campaign as the pitching coach for the Eagles during the 2026-27 season.

Evans spent last year as the pitching coach at Bloomsburg University which oversaw a pitching staff that lowered their ERA by over two runs, capped off with a NCAA Division II Regional appearance.

Before his arrival at Bloomsburg, Evans acted as the pitching coach for Lycoming College in 2025. During his tenure with the Warriors, he was instrumental in leading the program to its first ever postseason appearance.

Throughout the 2025 season, Evans mentored Joel Inman to first-team All-Landmark Conference honors as he topped the league with 22 appearances. Additionally, Grayson Rinker and A.J. Llorente secured second-team All-Landmark Conference accolades, with Rinker establishing a new program record of eight saves in a single season. Llorente also garnered second-team All-Region honors
