Dan Luisi

Dan Luisi, a three year captain and staple in the Eagles’ lineup, returned to the coaching staff for the 2012 season just two years removed from finishing up a stellar career. He is in his third season at Post.

Luisi currently holds the all-time record for hits (193), runs scored (115), at-bats (638) and walks (92). He is also 5th all-time in RBI’s with 74 and tied for 6th all-time in stolen bases with 26.

In 2010, Luisi was unanimously named 1st Team All-CACC as well as named to the 1st Team All-ECAC regional team after hitting.323 with 4 doubles, 22 runs scored and 14 RBI’s.  Additionally, he was named CACC Honorable Mention in 2008. Off the diamond, Luisi was named the Male Scholar-Athlete of the year in 2010.

“Dan was the face of the program and helped lead its transformation and growth into what it is today. He was the hardest working young man I have ever coached and he deserved all the accolades that he received throughout his stellar career. It is a pleasure and my honor to have him come back home and join the coaching staff; he will bring a great deal of baseball knowledge to our team and our players” offered Coach McNamara

Luisi will work with the defense as well as assist with the hitters.
