ORANGEBURG, N.Y. -- Post Men's Soccer defeated Dominican (NY) this afternoon rightfully putting themselves back into the win column, propelled by Eliass Elfasoukhi's goal just under a minute into the contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
At 0:58 in the match Eliass Elfasoukhi dribbled through a series of Charger defenders and took the Eagles' first shot of the game to connect with the left side of the Chargers' net and scoring the first goal of the game.
Just over ten minutes later at 14:04 in the match, Post's Francisco Madeira took a powerful shot on goal that quickly deflected off the outstretched hands of Chargers goalie Noah Elomar. Eagles forward Mirai Sato placed himself in just the right place at just the right time to receive the deflection off his forehead, the ball arcing high over Elomar's head and into the back of his team's net for the second time already.
The Eagles took four more shots on goal throughout the duration of the game, unable to connect on any of them, while Francisco Pinochet recorded his second shutout of the season with three saves.
Elfasoukhi and Sato each have three goals on the season, each recording a two-goal match earlier in the season.
WHO'S NEXT
The Eagles will return to LaMoy Field to battle the Chestnut Hill Griffins on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 7:00 p.m. Post is 13-4-1 against Chestnut Hill all-time and will look to extend a five-game win streak.
