WATERBURY, Conn. -- Post Men's Soccer comes in at #16 in the United Soccer Coaches Rankings after starting the season unranked.

Men's Soccer went 1-0-1 in their first week of the 2026 season with a 0-0 tie with Franklin Pierce University who was ranked #14th at the time and has since moved up to #3. The Eagles got their first win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Adelphi University. In the win over Adelphi the Eagles got on the board with a goal from freshman midfielder Marcos Rodriguez  which tied the game at 1-1 in the 78th minute. The Eagles didn't waste much time before getting on the board again as senior defender Aidan Tross scored the game winning goal in the 82nd minute. The Eagles defense was impressive during the first two games as they only allowed five shots on goal in the two games with goalie Francisco Pinochet saving four of them. 

Men's Soccer is back in action on September 2nd at 1:00PM against the #23 ranked team the University of Charleston in a neutral site match up in Millersville, Penn. as they look to keep things rolling. This will be only their second ever match up with the Golden Eagles with the first one being a 2-0 loss in 2022.
