WATERBURY,Conn. -- It was a big week for Post University as six athletes were named to this weeks CACC weekly awards. Men's soccer almost swept the weekly awards this week as they won Player of the week, Defensive player of the week and Rookie of the week. Tennis and cross country both received their first award of the season as Bintu Drame received CACC Honor Roll for tennis and Justin Halmose received CACC Honor Roll for cross country. 

Eliass Elfasoukhi - CACC Player of the Week - Men's Soccer 
Elfasoukhi recorded two goals and one assist for a total of five points which helped the team go 2-0-0 on the week. The men's soccer team went on the road to face Dominican where Elfasoukhi scored a goal which ended up being the game winning goal in their 2-0 victory. They returned home to play Chestnut Hill three days later and Elfasoukhi recorded one goal and one assist in the teams 3-1 win. 

Ramo Ahmetovic - CACC Rookie of the Week - Men's Soccer
Ahmetovic scored two goals for the Eagles in their 3-1 win over Chestnut Hill which were the freshman's first ever collegiate goals. Ahmetovic scored both of his goals off of headers that came off of corner kicks and his second goal ended up being the game winning goal for the Eagles. 

Aidan Tross - CACC Defensive Player of the week - Men's Soccer 
Tross recorded an assist in the Eagles 3-1 victory over Chestnut Hill while playing 52 minutes and helping the Eagles defense only allow one goal as well as playing 27 minutes in their 2-0 win over Dominican where his efforts helped the Eagles keep Dominican off the board. 

Francisco Pinochet - CACC Honor Roll - Men's Soccer 
Pinochet earned his third weekly award of the season after picking up CACC Honor Roll after helping the Eagles to a 2-0-0 week. Pinochet played all 90 minutes in both games and held Dominican to a shutout while making three saves. Pinochet surrendered one goal against Chestnut Hill while making four saves which helped the Eagles to a 3-1 victory. 

Bintu Drame - CACC Honor Roll - Women's Tennis 
Drame went 2-2 on the week in singles matches as she won 6-0, 6-0 at St. Thomas Aquinas and won by default at Wilmington. Drame also went 2-2 on the week in doubles matches with her partner Laura Kotala as they won against Jefferson 7-6, 7-2 and at St. Thomas Aquinas 6-1. 

Justin Halmose - CACC Honor Roll - Cross Country 
Halmose earned CACC Honor Roll after competing in the Men 5000m race at the University of Hartford Invitational where he placed 17th overall out of 199 participants with a time of 16:44.6.
