Hanna Solis in a 24-6 victory over Mount Saint Mary College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Solis accounted for two of the three first-half touchdowns that the Eagles had, ripping off touchdown runs of 32 yards in the opening minutes of the first and then 15 yards to start off the second quarter. Mixed in between there, junior quarterback
Delia Kotsaftis lofted one of two touchdown passes to freshman wide receiver
Wilma Fjall, a 63-yard strike in which she weaved through the Knight defense for the score.
After holding Mount Saint Mary off the scoreboard in the first half, Alyssa Sarlo connected with Sabrina Scire for the only touchdown of the day that the Knights would have, while Scire caught six balls for 123 receiving yards in the loss, which sent the home team to 1-9 in their inaugural season. Hannah Vancise took her pass 68 yards for the touchdown score in the fourth, helping the Eagles to a three-touchdown lead and 24-6 victory.

Melanie Carrasco, who also had five tackles in the win. Fjall had the only pick of the game for the Eagles, as well as one of the two sacks recorded, while Solis had the other, along with two tackles for loss.Â
Despite going just 5-for-14 through the air, Kotsfatis had 161 passing yards for two touchdowns and one interception, while Sarlo finished 15-for-39 with 196 passing yards, a touchdown, an interception, and two sacks. Sarlo also rushed for 35 yards on 15 attempts for the Knights.
