UNION, N.J. – The Post University Women's Flag Football defense continued its dominant stretch, allowing just six points on Saturday against the University of Montana, while junior quarterback
Delia Kotsaftis went 25-for-40 through the air with two touchdown passes to lead the Eagles to their fourth consecutive victory, 19-6, moving to 7-4 overall this year.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The shutout streak for the Eagle defense would end at three consecutive games in the second quarter after Savanna Hasseleroth threw a 56-yard strike to Brooks Whitman, giving the Grizzlies a 6-0 lead, which would be met by a 19-yard score from junior wide receiver
Melanie Carrasco to end the first half from Kotsaftis. The touchdown grab was the second in the air this season that Carrasco has corralled, while the extra-point attempt was failed, sending the two sides into the break tied at six.

In the 19-6 win, Kotsaftis threw for 159 passing yards on 25-for-40 passing overall with two touchdowns and no interceptions as she closes in on eclipsing 1,000 passing yards in a single season, while now having 17 touchdown passes in the 11 games she has been under center. Freshman running back
Anna Acevedo-Lopez put together a solid day on the ground, rushing for 74 yards on 10 attempts for an Eagle attack that closed with 154 rushing yards overall on 25 carries.
For Montana, Hasseleroth would go just 11-for-23 overall with 123 passing yards to go along with her one touchdown and one interception, while Ainsley Mackenzie finished 0-for-2 in backup duties with a pick.
