WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University Women's Flag Football home slate for its inaugural season came to a close in style on Sunday for the Eagles as they pitched their third consecutive shutout win with a 41-0 victory over Roxbury Community College to close out the tri-match, after beating the Tigers at home earlier this year, 53-7.

HOW IT HAPPENED
As they did in the first game, it was all Post right from the jump with junior quarterback
Delia Kotsaftis under center, who had a program-best 17 completions in 25 attempts for 111 passing yards and a program-record four touchdowns to lead the offense.
Sophomore running back
Hanna Solis got the scoring started in the first with her seven-yard touchdown run, while freshman wide receiver
Aniyah Booker caught the first of four touchdown passes from Kotsaftis in the second to open up a 14-0 lead heading into halftime.
While Kotsaftis would throw two interceptions in the game, her defense would step up in a big way as Solis forced seven total tackles, including five for losses, to go along with two sacks and two pass breakups in the win. Roxbury's defense was led by cornerback Nat Machado's 17 tackles, including one tackle-for-loss, while the run game for the Tigers finished with -26 rushing yards in the shutout loss.
In all, four different Post receivers finished with touchdown grabs for a core that had 111 total yards on 17 receptions, while the ground game totaled 154 yards on 24 attempts in the win.
