WATERBURY, Conn. – Sophomore safety
Alexa Arnold picked off a program-record tying three passes for Post University Women's Flag Football in its first game of the day on Sunday, en route to seven team interceptions as part of a 46-0 shutout win of Howard Community College to move above .500 for the first time this season at 5-4.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Coming into the game, the Dragons were playing a man down with only six players, but would end up playing with only five after the first two minutes when a head-to-head collision between two of them resulted in another injury. Modifying the game for the rest of the afternoon, the two sides would play 6-on-5 in favor of Post, which was quickly met with a 48-yard touchdown run by freshman wide receiver

Anna Acevedo-Lopez would tack on another touchdown with her 10-yard rush, as Post had a total of 129 rushing yards on 13 carries in the victory. As for the defense, they would see seven interceptions spread out among five different players, including three from Arnold, who also had three tackles.

Hanna Solis both led the way with six total tackles for the defense as well, who pitched their second shutout in as many games, doing so in their previous game against Harford Community College, 18-0. Junior quarterback

Wilma Fjall had a pick-six for Post in the second quarter for the Eagles, which was her second of the season in the 46-0 win.
