BEL AIR, Md. – For the first time in program history, Post University Flag Football picked up a shutout victory as the Eagles flipped the script on their loss from earlier in the evening against Villa Maria College, turning in a shutout performance of their own in an 18-0 win against Harford Community College in Thursday's road matchup.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Post's defense harassed freshman quarterback Briana Taylor and the entire Harford offense in their dominant showing, holding them to just 90 total yards in the win. Taylor threw for just 66 passing yards on a 7-for-12 performance, along with two interceptions, both by freshman safety
Rihanna Boland, while freshman Sanaiya Edmond was 3-for-8 with 14 yards passing in Taylor's place.
Edmond and Taylor combined to rush for just 10 yards on eight total carries, while the Eagle rushing attack flew all over the field to the tune of 145 rushing yards on 22 carries, scoring all three touchdowns on the ground. Freshman wide receiver
Aniyah Booker led that attack with 68 carries on eight attempts with two touchdown runs, while junior quarterback
Delia Kotsaftis ran in the first of three touchdowns that Post had in the win.
As a team, the Eagles had just 21 passing yards between Kotsaftis, who was 2-for-9 with 12 passing yards and an interception, and Booker, who went 2-for-6 with nine passing yards and a pick. As a defense, Boland led the way with six tackles in addition to her two picks, while Booker had three tackles, including a tackle-for-loss and a six-yard sack in the process.

Post University has a bye week before they take on Howard Community College at LaMoy Field on April 12th at 11:30 AM, before rematching Roxbury Community College at 2:30 PM the same day. The Eagles took down the Tigers at home earlier this year, 53-7, for their first win in program history.
