HOW IT HAPPENED
Both Pacheco and sophomore defenseman
Eoin Reager each got the Eagles a goal in the first period, helping them open up a 2-0 lead early on the Penmen and never look back. Pacheco's goal would come off an initial shot by junior forward
Connor McCowell, while Reager's shot from the left point was assisted by sophomore defenseman

Cayden Sweitzer against junior goalie Collin Berke.
Berke would allow a third straight goal before the Penmen got their first and only goal of the game, as senior forward
Conner Murray netted his second goal of the season from Canady and sophomore forward
Bradley McMains. McMains would end up scoring Post's fourth goal of the contest in the third period, after a second-period strike from freshman forward Zach Vickerman, his second of the weekend, briefly cut into the Eagle lead and made it a 3-1 game.
Senior forward
Baxter Kimball rounded out the scoring in the third with a shorthanded empty net goal from Pacheco, propelling the Eagles to their 5-1 win as senior goalie
Benjamin Cunneen stopped 38 of a possible 39 shots to come away with the weekend sweep and his seventh win of the season between the pipes.
