Taking on Georgian Court University, the Eagles would take a three-point lead into the fourth quarter, but get outscored 21-9 in the final 10 minutes by the Lions, snapping their nine-game winning streak against them dating back to the 2016-17 season, 69-60.

HOW IT HAPPENED
A highly contested first half of action saw four ties and eight lead changes over the course of the first 20 minutes. While Georgian Court held a 19-6 edge in defensive rebounds, a 12-9 lead in offensive rebounds for Post resulted in six second-chance points during a 33.3% shooting half (14-for-42).
The largest lead for either side would be only five points, led by double-digit performances from Rossignol for the Eagles, with 14 points on 6-for-11 shooting, while junior forward Karissa Smedley poured in 11 points on 4-for-7 shooting. Post would shoot the ball nearly twice as many times as the Lions, but trail in the rebounding category by a 28-18 margin. Senior guard Jade Dickson was closing in on a double-double heading into the break with six points and eight rebounds in 16 minutes for Georgian Court.
While Dickson would fall just short of a double-double with those six points, she would reach 10 rebounds in the affair, while Smedley ended up finishing with her 25-point, 12-rebound double-double in which she shot 8-for-12 from the floor and 9-for-12 from the free throw line. Scoring 14 second-half points, Smedley was responsible for 11 of the 21 fourth-quarter points that the Lions had to come from behind and take down the Eagles for their fourth consecutive loss.
Immediately after jumping out to a seven-point lead, their largest of the game, with a 7-0 run at the start of the third quarter, the Post offense would slow down as Smedley kicked off a stretch for the Lions in which they scored 12 of the next 14 points to regain the lead by three, 44-41, with 3:32 remaining in the frame. That lead would reach five points after a pair of free throws from junior guard Samantha Jones, 48-43, before Post closed the final two minutes and change with a 6-0 run of their own to head into the final 10 minutes with a three-point edge, 51-48.
However, the shooting would go cold from the floor for the Eagles, who were just 3-for-16 (18.8%) overall, hitting one of their two three-point attempts, while Georgian Court went 6-for-9 (66.7%) and took 16 free throws, nailing nine of them, and finishing the game with a 50% shooting afternoon, converting 26-of-52 shots.
Sophomore guard
Jasmine Day-Cox gave Post a four-point advantage with 9:30 left in the final quarter, before the Lions went on a 9-0 run, giving them the lead for good in their 69-60 victory. Day-Cox closed with 10 points on 4-for-17 shooting while sophomore forward
Tiara Tyson also chipped in 10 points of her own to round out the three Post scorers in double figures. Holding a 47-29 edge on the glass, the Lions were led by Smedley's 25 points, followed by 15 points off the bench for senior forward Imani Gillette and 10 points from Jones.
