Ta'Quan Williams, and graduate forward
Derrick Thomas II all being named to the CACC Honor Roll as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Alyssa Rossignol - Honor Roll - Women's Basketball
Rossignol led Post to a 2-0 week with double-digit conference wins over both Caldwell and Wilmington University. Rossignol shot 41.9% (13-for-31) from the field and 72.7% (8-for-11) from the free throw line for the Eagles, averaging a team-high 17 points per game with 5.5 rebounds per game, two steals, and an assist in 55 minutes of action.
Ta'Quan Williams - Honor Roll - Men's Basketball
Williams was nearly unstoppable for the Eagles on offense this week, leading Post to a 2-0 week against Caldwell and Wilmington University. Williams shot 72.7% from the floor, going 16-for-22 overall, making 4-of-7 (57.1%) of his threes, and 5-of-6 (83.3%) of his free throws, averaging 20.5 points, 3.5 assists, and 2.5 rebounds per game. In his 20-point performance against the Wildcats, Williams had six points on an 8-0 run that helped Post pull away for the 80-71 victory.
Derrick Thomas II - Honor Roll - Men's Basketball
Thomas II got it done on both ends of the floor for Post to help the Eagles go 2-0 in conference play this week against Caldwell and Wilmington University. Thomas II averaged 17 points offensively on 10-for-26 (38.5%) shooting, making 5-of-14 threes (35.7%), and 9-of-11 (81.3%) of his free throws. On the glass, Thomas II averaged 7.5 rebounds per game while tacking on 2.5 assists and two steals per game across 63 minutes. The graduate student had a double-double against the Wildcats with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
