MANCHESTER, N.H. – Freshman defenseman
Eoin Reager scored his first collegiate goal for Post University Men's Ice Hockey on Saturday afternoon against Saint Anselm College, tying the game at two all in the second period. However, two unanswered goals in the third for the Hawks would help them roll to a weekend sweep over the Eagles and their ninth consecutive game without a loss in conference play.

Saint Anselm College (13-9-2, 12-3-1 NE10)
HOW IT HAPPENED
For the second straight day, junior forward Garrett Alberti would score for the Hawks, and like a day ago, it would be to put the Hawks ahead. Beating junior goalie
Benjamin Cunneen with 2:30 left in the first period, Alberti gave Saint Anselm a 1-0 lead with the help of senior forward Hunter Brackett and senior defenseman Mark Blaney while sophomore goalie Cam Carroll held the Eagles off the scoreboard after making all nine saves in the frame.
It was an all-freshmen score for Post in the second period as freshman defenseman
Aidan Canady along with freshman forward
Scotty Swain helped the 16th game of Reager's career be the one in which he would net his first collegiate goal. Coming with 5:40 left in the frame, Reager tied the game up at one while Cunneen kept his team in the game after making seven more saves en route to his 14 total through 40 minutes of action.
The lone power-play of the day for the Hawks would end up leading to them finding the back of the net to take the lead for good as sophomore forward Patrick DeMarinis was the recipient of the go-ahead goal and then freshman defenseman Hunter Hoffman's first collegiate goal provided insurance down the stretch for Saint Anselm in the 3-1 win.
Cunneen would finish the game having made 25 saves in net for the Eagles in the loss while Carroll stopped 38 of a possible 39 shots by the Post offense. The Eagles would have three power-play attempts in the game, including one in the third, that they would be unable to cash in on while Carroll stopped 17 shots in the third to help the Hawks maintain their two-goal lead.
