WATERBURY, Conn. -- Another week full of awards from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference saw six players for Post University Athletics take home various honors as junior goalkeeper Aryn Nisbet was named CACC Goalkeeper of the Week for Post University Women's Soccer, graduate outside hitter Kristina Peric and senior libero Alyssa Groves landed CACC Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week honors respectively for Post University Women's Volleyball, and freshman defender Pedro Vercosa was named CACC Rookie of the Week for Post University Men's Soccer.

Both graduate setter Alice DiFrancesco from Women's Volleyball and junior goalkeeper Leopold Dufaut from Men's Soccer were CACC Honor Roll recipients. 

Aryn Nisbet - Goalkeeper of the Week - Women's Soccer
Nisbet finished the week with 17 saves for Post, going 0-1-1 in net for the Eagles. Nisbet tied her season high in saves with 11 over the weekend against Wilmington University in a 1-1 tie after making six against Queens College on the road during the week.

Kristina Peric - Player of the Week - Women's Volleyball
Peric led Post with 55 kills, along with a .218 attack percentage with only 16 errors during a 2-1 week for the Eagles. Peric also had 34 digs and seven block assists as part of a 61.5-point week for her, helping Post take down Georgian Court University and Dominican (N.Y.) in conference play.

Alyssa Groves - Defensive Player of the Week - Women's Volleyball
Groves had another big week for Post with 79 digs across 11 sets played in a 2-1 week for the Eagles with conference wins against Dominican (N.Y.) and Georgian Court University. Groves averaged 7.18 digs per set, while adding on 11 assists and seven service aces along the way.

Alice DiFrancesco - Honor Roll - Women's Volleyball 
DiFrancesco finished with two double-doubles in her two matches played for Post this week. DiFrancesco, who missed Saturday's match against Georgian Court University, had 69 total assists and 31 digs for an average of 8.63 assists per set and 3.88 digs per set. The graduate student also added seven kills, three block assists, and two service aces.

Pedro Vercosa - Rookie of the Week - Men's Soccer
Vercosa scored the lone goal of the week for Post in their one match this week against #23 Wilmington University. The Eagles tied with the Wildcats, 1-1, after Vercosa's header in the 61^st minute of a corner kick from graduate midfielder Sami Charaf Amal. Vercosa finished the week with one goal across his 90 minutes of action, in which he helped the Post defense allow just one goal.

Leopold Dufaut - Honor Roll - Men's Soccer
Dufaut made nine saves for Post as the Eagles tied their only match of the week against #23 Wilmington University at home over the weekend, 1-1. Dufaut allowed one goal on 10 shots by the Wildcats, including a key save to maintain the tie with six seconds left on a free kick by graduate forward Theo Faillon.
