WATERBURY, Conn. -- In the first-ever Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Academic Honor Roll which was started in the Fall of 2023, a total of 188 student-athletes from Post University who compete within the CACC were honored on the list with qualifying grade point averages ranging from a 3.0 to a perfect 4.0 GPA in the fall semester as announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon.
To make Commissioner's Level, students had to achieve a GPA between 3.0 and 3.49 in which 39 Post athletes reached this mark. Most athletes from the university achieved the Presidents' Level which was for those students who got a GPA between a 3.50 and a 3.99 in the fall while the FAR Award of Distinction Level was achieved by 32 student-athletes at Post.
In comparison to the rest of the CACC, Post was 6th overall in total student-athletes making the Honor Roll while Wilmington University led the way with 221, Dominican (N.Y.) came in at 213, Georgian Court was at 211, Felician University netted 206, and Holy Family University finished with 194. Of all the CACC schools, Post had the most students make the Presidents' Level with 117 while Wilmington was close behind at 116. On the FAR Level, the 32 student-athletes put the Eagles at fourth overall narrowly behind Wilmington and Bridgeport who had 38 and Georgian Court at 37.
