ALBANY N.Y. – Senior attacker
Dylan Heald led Post University Men's Lacrosse with five goals and one assist for a total of six points while junior midfielder
Tim Keefe loomed close behind with five points on the afternoon, but the College of Saint Rose used two goals in five seconds to end the first half as a way to build momentum into the second half in which they outscored the Eagles, 10-7, to hand them a 17-14 loss on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Senior midfielder
Hayden Hindman scored his fifth and sixth goals of the season to kick off the scoring for the Eagles who went ahead 2-0 right off the bat against the Golden Knights within the first two minutes. Three straight goals from three different players for Saint Rose would get them into the scoring column in the first to flip the game back in their favor and head into the second up 3-2.
In response, Post opened up the next 15 minutes with three straight goals of their own from senior midfielder
Noah Piette, Heald, and the team's leading goal scorer in junior attacker
Robbie McGrayne to make it 5-3. After the Golden Knights responded to tie things back up at five, Heald and McGrayne would net one each which looked to put the Eagles ahead going into halftime. However, goals from sophomore midfielder Jack Rice and graduate attacker Cam Smith would come five seconds apart in the final 10 seconds to send the game tied with 30 minutes to play.
Heald and Rice would each exchange a goal to start the third for their respective teams before a 5-0 run by the Golden Knights which featured two goals from Smith. That run would prove to be the difference maker in the affair as the Eagles would only be able to get within three goals, 13-10, when Heald scored with 11:38 remaining in regulation followed by a 3-0 run by Saint Rose to put the game out of reach and hand the Eagles their second straight loss, 17-14.
Senior goalie
Cole George made 13 saves on 30 attempts for Post, dropping to 1-3 on the season while senior goalie Ryan Gainor made seven saves on 21 attempts by the Eagles.
