WINCHENDON, Mass. -- Sophomore forward

HOW IT HAPPENED
Like their matchup in the Sports Center of Connecticut last month, it would be goals galore in a short period of time as freshman forward Bo Dean opened the scoring against junior goalie
Hali Lawrence to give the Ravens a 1-0 lead just under six minutes into the contest. But less than a minute later, Farberman tied the game back up at one all on a power-play goal following a tripping penalty issued to sophomore defenseman Courtney Swenson in which junior goalie Jill Hertl was pulled away from the net, leaving Farberman with space to sneak the puck by her.
Completing a span of three goals in 1:35 between the two squads was sophomore forward Lauren Maras with her first goal of the season to put Franklin Pierce ahead by one, 2-1, after 20 minutes. Nine saves would be made by each goalie in the first period and from there on the offensive opportunities would be limited by the defense of both sides which led to Post recording only 19 shots on goal compared to 23 on goal for the Ravens.
Again, on the power play just over seven minutes into the second, Pitter tipped a shot by senior defenseman
Caisey Van Den Oetelaar by Hertl to knot the game up at two apiece before three unanswered goals by Franklin Pierce helped them pull away for the victory. Senior forward Mikayla Kelley scored the go-ahead goal towards the end of the second while Dean added an insurance goal for Franklin Pierce about midway through the third before junior forward McKenzie Rich sealed the 5-2 win for the Ravens with an empty netter at the 18:58 mark of regulation.
