WATERBURY, Conn. -- On Tuesday afternoon, the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Teams were announced for both Men's and Women's Soccer across all three NCAA Divisions and the NAIA. Both the Post University Men's and Women's Soccer programs a combined 10 players make the list with Women's Soccer reaching the maximum of six while Men's Soccer had four honored.
Among those honorees for Head CoachÂ
Ted Haley's team were graduate forward
Luca Dettoli, senior midfielder
Simon Hemler, graduate defender
Felix Nassen, and senior forward
Francisco Sousa.
For Head CoachÂ
Renato Topalli, his team saw sophomore forward
Avia Burns, senior forward
Anna Eicke, sophomore midfielder
Reese Kloetzer, junior defender
Zoe Mier, sophomore goalkeeper
Aryn Nisbet, and graduate defender
Bianca Stiles make the list.Â
In order to qualify, student-athletes must compete in 90% of their institution's games/contests/sets played or must start in at least 66% of the games/contests/sets in addition to achieving a high-level of academic success in the classroom.Â
This is the second consecutive year in which Mier and Stiles had received the honor on the women's side while Nassen was the lone repeat for the men's team. In all, this was the first time seven of the honorees made the CSC All-District Team during their time at Post University.Â
