WILMINGTON, Del. -- As the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament lurks closer and closer, each match becomes more pivotal for Post University Women's Tennis as they look to sneak their way into the fourth spot of the tournament. Heading into the day facing undefeated Wilmington University on the road, the Eagles had four conference matches left and sat at 1-5 in conference play, just one game back in the loss column to Jefferson University who owns the tiebreaker over them and two games back in the loss column against Goldey-Beacom College, but also currently owns the tiebreaker.
With the 7-0 loss to the Wildcats today, Post sits three games back of the Lightning with three left and pending the Jefferson-Dominican (N.Y) matchup still in progress could be either one or two games back of the Rams with three matches remaining.Â
