CALDWELL, N.J. – Post University Women's Soccer was outshot 28-4 against Caldwell University on Tuesday afternoon in New Jersey as the Eagles were shut out for their third consecutive match, 4-0, at the hands of the Cougars on the road behind junior forward Taina Gervais' two-goal performance which extended the Post losing streak to three straight matches and dropped their conference record to 1-4-0 on the year.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Outshot 14-1 overall in the first half, the Eagles lone shot would be on goal from sophomore midfielder
Delia Kotsaftis in the 36th minute which was swallowed up by junior goalkeeper Ariana Gaminara. Gaminara would only face three total shots on the day, stopping all of them to nail down her third shutout win of the season. The other two shots of the afternoon for Post came from sophomore midfielder
Reese Kloetzer and sophomore defender
Taylar Gottsegen in the second half.
Meanwhile, the Cougars opened up a 2-0 lead in the first half behind goals from junior forwards Rosie Cardenas and Taina Gervais against sophomore goalkeeper
Aryn Nisbet who finished the match with nine saves on 13 shots. Gervais would record her second goal of the match in the 61st minute with the help of freshman forward Ana Maria Pinzon who had two second-half assists.
Freshman midfielder Suri Silva and sophomore midfielder Yuli Amador each also recorded assists in the win for Caldwell which had six corner kick tries in the match while Post had zero. In shots on goal, the Cougars held a 13-3 advantage while the Eagles had eight fouls to Caldwell's seven fouls in the 4-0 loss.

- Ariana Gaminara made three saves in the match for Caldwell, earning her third shutout of the season and 13th of her career
- The four-goal margin of defeat was the largest since 2017 for Post University in their all-time series against Caldwell – That year the Eagles lost 5-1 and stood as the largest margin of defeat in the head-to-head matchup

Post University continues to roll through conference play with a make-up match against Holy Family University on Thursday at 3:30 PM at Municipal Stadium that was originally scheduled for September 28th. The Eagles are 2-19-0 in the all-time series against the Tigers and before knocking them off, 1-0, in 2022 had lost seven straight matches to them and then lost last season on the road, 2-1.
