PHILADELPHIA, Penn. – Junior point guard
Bol Akot dropped 23 points for Post University Men's Basketball against Jefferson University on Saturday afternoon, but four Jefferson players would register double-digit points and a 16-0 run in the second half by the Rams would be the undoing for the Eagles as they dropped their second straight game, 77-61.
Senior forward Antonin Kemkeng was lights out for the Rams, going 13-for-15 from the floor with 28 points, 17 of which came in the second half, to lead Jefferson to the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
With one of their hottest starts of the season for a first half, the Eagles shot a blistering 54.8% from the field while making just two of their 11 attempts from three-point range and having only three free throws. Living by the free throw line in the frame, the Rams would take 14 foul shots, converting on 12 of them for an 85.7% performance which kept them within three points, 37-34 at the half.
Junior point guard
Bol Akot had a team-high 10 points on 5-of-6 shooting while Kemkeng kept pace with him for Jefferson with 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting. After the Eagles trailed 4-0 at the start, their offense would trail only once more in the opening half before going up by as many as six points on multiple occasions only for the Rams to respond by cutting into the deficit.
After taking their first lead since 16-15 in the first half, Jefferson would attack the Eagles with an onslaught of scoring once the score was tied at 45 all with 13:45 remaining. Over the next eight minutes, the Rams would go on a 16-0 run led primarily by Kemkeng and junior guard Ahmed Barba-Bey to go ahead 61-45 with 5:18 left in regulation.
Post would be unable to recover from that run as Jefferson went 20-for-34 (58.8%) from the field while hitting no threes in a second half that they would outscore the Eagles by a margin of 43-24 en route to their 16-point win, 77-61.
