HOW IT HAPPENED
The Eagles opened the day facing off against the University of Charleston on the road in Rockville, New York. Being the earliest game of the day, the Eagles got off to a rough start to their double header losing their first set 13-25. In that first set in the early rallies, Post made it a game before the Golden Eagles of Charleston went on a run. There were many runs in the first set for Charleston as Post struggled to get back in it. While Post lost the set they managed to find 10 kills within the set, with three kills coming from Hannah Brandt.

In the second set of the first game Post came out of the gates strong gaining an 11-8 lead. The early lead was aided by Caley Harper with four kills. The Golden Eagles of Charleston got their groove back and went on an 8-0 with three kills by Pia Selke of Charleston. Post would lose the set 17-25 bettering their score by four points. The closest Post came to winning the set came on a kill by Caley Harper which put Post down 15-18. From then on out Charleston scored seven points to Post's two. Most of those points came from kills by Emma Shepherd of Charleston.

In the third and final set of Post's first of two games, Post struggles to find points early in the set as Charleston opened the set 10-2. Many of those points came from errors on the Post side whether that be attack or service errors. Later in the set the Eagles found themselves down 19-7 but managed to out up six more points on the board before losing 25-13 in set three.

To close out the first game of the day Maria Fernanda Branco was very selfless knotting 22 assists in the first game while Caley Harper racked up nine kills with Hannah Brandt and Colleen Romero following her with seven kills in the game.

In a closer match to close out the day the Eagles faced the Molloy Lions. Still dropping 3 sets to 0, Post found positives to take into their next game. In the first set Post kept things close even tied it up at 15. Four kills by Caley Harper kept things close and even gave Post the lead at times. Post eventually lost the set 18-25. Six of those Molloy points coming off of kills by Chye Davis.

The second set the game was evenly matched, going back and forth the entire way. This was a set of runs as both teams were not giving each other an inch. Colleen Romero had 3 kills that added to Post's 21 points in the 21-25 set loss. 11 of those 21 points also came from errors on the Molloy side of ball accounting for service errors, attack errors and blocking errors.

In the third and final set of the game and the day for Post, the Eagles fell 19-25. Much like the second set this was a set of runs where both teams were going at it until the very end. Tamara Radovanov netted three kills in this set giving boosts of confidence to the Eagles when needed most in this long double header. Hoping to force more sets the Eagles fell short to Molloy in the end.
