ORANGEBURG, N.Y. -- Post University Women's Tennis continued their winning ways on Tuesday afternoon, extending their winning streak to four consecutive matches and moving to 2-0 in conference play after defeating Dominican (N.Y.) for the fifth straight time in program history, 5-2, on the road.

For the fifth straight time to start the year, the Eagles would win the doubles point as junior

Micaela Rosignuolo took their eighth consecutive doubles match dating back to last year, 6-4, in the #1 Doubles over seniors Selina Donecker and Bipasha Mehn. Falling for the first time in seven doubles matches and first time in six matches with sophomore
Natalia Gonzalez Ramos, in the #2 Doubles, graduate student Annunciate De-Souza and Gonzalez Ramos fell 6-3 against juniors Angelina Amelkina and Lia Sarjveladze

Julia D'Occhio's 6-2 victory in the #3 Doubles over junior Ava O'Brien and sophomore Vanya Tyagi would give Post the crucial second doubles win they needed to go up 1-0 in the team score.
De-Souza's singles dominance would continue with her eighth consecutive win, taking 6-4 and 6-2 set wins over Amelkina in the #1 Singles while Rosignuolo defeated Mehn in the #2 Singles in three sets as both players exchanged 6-4 set wins back and forth.
The 3-0 start to singles came to an end for Langenfeld in the #3 Singles as she would drop her matchup with Donecker, 6-0 and 6-2, while the only other loss of the afternoon for the Eagles came in the #5 Singles when Gonzalez Ramos was taken down for the first time this year in the singles by Donecker in the tiebreaking third set, 10-7.
Senior
Oceane Mallevre and D'Occhio would win the #4 Singles and #6 Singles respectively over Sarjveladze and junior Preeti Koli with Mallevre winning two sets by identical scores of 6-2 and D'Occhio with 6-0 and 6-4 set victories to help the Eagles earn their 5-2 win over the Lady Chargers.

Post University closes their two-game road trip with a non-conference matchup against Molloy University on Thursday afternoon at 3:00 PM in Rockville Centre, New York. The two sides have met four times in program history with the Eagles leading the all-time series, 3-1 overall. Last fall, Post defeated the Lions, 6-1, at home and are currently riding a three-game winning streak against Molloy.
