The Post University men's tennis team lost 6-1 and 7-0 to Jefferson University on Thursday and Friday, respectively.
The Eagles are now 7-9 overall and finish up CACC play at 4-5. The Rams are 18-4 and finished 9-0 in the CACC, winning the regular season title.
In Thursday match, hosted by Post, the Eagles lone point came from
Anton Andersson, who won in singles no. 5, 6-1, 6-4 against Jules Thibault
Jefferson took the doubles point, but
Niklas Langenfeld and
James Vincent won, 6-2 in their no. 3 match over Thibault and Mario Antonio.Â
The rest of the singles matches finished in straight sets in Jefferson's favor.
Up next, the Eagles close out their regular season with a match against Bentley on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Post wrapped up the no. 3 seed in the upcoming CACC tournament and will play at No. 2 Chestnut Hill on April 18.
