WILMINGTON, Del. -- In search of their first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference championship, Post University Women's Tennis entered this week's CACC Tournament as the fourth seed taking on top-seeded, defending champion Wilmington University on Friday morning at the Delcastle Tennis Center. After narrowly dropping their last match to the Wildcats, the Eagles would be unable to answer Wilmington this time around, falling 4-1, in the CACC Semifinals to close their season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
In just 21 minutes, Wilmington would take two doubles to end that portion of the match after graduate student Valentina Ivankovic and junior Fenna Swaan swept sophomore
Micaela Rosignuolo and junior
Megan Lombardt, 6-0, in the #1 Doubles followed by a 6-1 win for seniors Larize Nel and Jess Purdy over graduate student
Annunciata De-Souza and sophomore
Natalia Gonzalez Ramos to earn the point.
De-Souza would go on to briefly tie the match up at one all after winning the #1 Singles over junior Kushi Khandoji, 6-3 and 6-1, but it would be short-lived as the Wildcats would win the next three matches necessary to take the win. Senior
Oceane Mallevre would drop the #4 Singles with a pair of 6-1 sets against Ivankovic followed shortly after by Lombardt falling to sophomore Alva Norberg in the #3 Singles, 6-3 and 6-2.
After just under an hour and a half, the 4-1 victory for Wilmington would be capped off in the #2 Singles by Purdy over Rosignuolo with set wins of 6-1 and 6-2 to end the Eagles' season.
BY THE NUMBERS
