PHILADELPHIA, Penn. -- With rain slated to make its way into Pennsylvania on Saturday, Post University Women's Tennis saw their match against top-team in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference, Jefferson University, get pushed back to Friday, once again postponing their home match against AIC which was scheduled for 3:00 PM today.
Having to travel to the area for the second time in three days after taking on Wilmington University (Del.), the Eagles will fall against the Rams in their first sweep of the season, 7-0, leaving the fourth seed in the CACC Tournament still up for grabs.
The only team still on the heels of Post is Dominican (N.Y.) at 1-6 after splitting their season series with the Eagles. The Lady Chargers still have three CACC matches left and would get in should they win out and Post loses their final conference match of the season against Chestnut Hill, but can tie the Eagles at 4-6 and send it to tiebreakers for the final spot.

Jefferson University (11-3, 7-1 CACC)
HOW IT HAPPENED
It was a doubles sweep for the Rams as a new #1 Doubles duo in sophomore
Natalia Gonzalez Ramos and graduate student
Annunciata De-Souza fell, 6-3, to junior Nicole Hrbkova and graduate student Noelle Frenzel. That 6-3 final would be the same way the #3 Doubles would go as well with the new duo of sophomore
Micaela Rosignuolo and graduate student
Julia D'Occhio against sophomores Emily Frost and Rose Huang.
With the final new duo of the doubles in the #2 Doubles consisting of juniors
Megan Lombardt and
Nina Langenfeld, the Eagles would fall to sophomore Charly Egger and junior Zenia Barretto, 6-4, as Jefferson went ahead 1-0 in the overall team score.
Adjustments to the singles saw D'Occhio replace Rosignuolo in the ladder as everyone shifted up from their original spot to fill the sophomore's spot in the #3 Singles. The Rams quickly took care of the #2 and #3 Singles as Lombardt dropped against Frenzel, 6-1 and 6-3, while Langenfeld was swept 6-0 in both sets against Egger to push Jefferson to the brink of the victory.
After losing the first set of the #6 Singles by a 7-2 tiebreaker, D'Occhio would be defeated 6-2 in set two by Barretto to secure the win for the Rams who would then take a thrilling #1 Singles as De-Souza lost her first conference singles match of the season to Hrbkova, falling in set one by a score of 7-5 and then winning set two 11-9 in the tiebreaker, before losing the 10-point tiebreaker third set, 11-9.
Senior Manni Zhang also went to a tiebreaker first set against Gonzalez Ramos in the #5 Singles, winning that 7-3, and then taking set two 6-4. In the final match of the day, senior
Oceane Mallevre battled hard against Huang in the #4 Singles as the Rams took set one, 7-1 on tiebreaker only to see Mallevre take set two by tiebreaker, 9-7. However, the decisive 10-point tiebreaking set would go in favor of Huang, 10-7, securing the 7-0 sweep for Jefferson.
