Jasson Named CACC Men’s Basketball Player Of The Week

Waterbury, CT – Post University men's basketball player David Jasson was named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Basketball layer of the Week for his performance from January 16-22.

Jasson was the top scorer for the Eagles during the week, which saw the Eagles go 2-0. The Eagles defeated Felician on the road, 87-63 on January 17 before defeating Goldey-Beacom, 73-61 on January 21.

In the win over Felician, Jasson went 10-for-14 from the field, including 7-for-10 from three and scored a career-high 27 points as the Eagles hit 17 three-pointers as a team. He also added three rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Against the Lightning, Jasson scored 16 points, including 11 in the second half to go with four rebounds and three assists.

Jasson was 10-for-20 (50 pct) from three for the week and is seventh in the conference in three-point shooting at 41.9 percent. He is currently averaging 9.4 points on the season and has scored in double digits in three of the last five games.

The Eagles are riding a three-game winning streak and will go on the road on Wednesday, January 25 at 7 p.m.
