Waterbury, Conn. - The Post University baseball team lost a 14-8 non-conference game to Queens on Tuesday evening at Municipal Stadium.
Both teams scored in each of the first four innings, with Queens leading, 10-5.
The Eagles got on the board in the first on an RBI double by Robert Olah that scored Jimmy Brennan. A solo home run from Matt Goehrig gave the Eagles their lone run in the second, while a sacrifice fly in the third from Nate Miller and an RBI single by Hunter Keller and RBI double by Brennan in the fourth.
Queens scored a run in the 11th and the 12th and two in the top of the eighth on a two-run homer by Juan De La Rosa to give the Knights a 14-5 lead.
The Eagles rallied for three more in the bottom of the eighth, highlighted by a bases loaded walk from King Rivera and an RBI single by Jordan Glazer.
Eight different Eagles drove in runs. Keller was 2-for-5 with two runs and an RBI. Brennan was 2-for-4 with a run and RBI.
Up next, the Eagles take on East Stroudsburg in a non-conference game on April 14 at Municipal Stadium at 3 p.m.
