Caldwell, N.J. - Devonte McCall scored 25 points, but the Post University men's basketball team's late rally fell short in a 72-59 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) semifinal loss to Felician on Saturday afternoon on the campus of Caldwell University.

Post is 20-9 on the season, tying them for the most wins in program history.

Felician jumped out to an early 8-0 lead and took a 32-17 lead into the half.

In the second half, after falling behind by as much as 17 points at 36-19, the Eagles began to mount a rally behind McCall who scored 12 straight points as part of a 29-20 spurt which saw the Eagles close the gap to 56-48 after a jumper from David Jasson.

The Golden Falcons again increased its lead back to 12 on two free throws from Jaylen Colon at the 4:38 mark, but the Eagles would again cut the deficit, this time back to seven points at 64-57 on back-to-back baskets by Isaiah Holmes and D.J. Frechette.

However, it'd be as close as the Eagles would get as Felician finished on an 8-2 run.

McCall scored 20 points in the second half. He also eclipsed,1,000 points in his career. He now has 1,005 in his career. It was his 11th game of 20 or more points.

Frechette finished with 12 points. Jasson had nine, while Holmes had seven.

Justin Davis finished with 32 points and eight rebounds on 14-for-20 shooting for Felician. Felician will meet Dominican in the CACC Champioship game on Sunday.
