Waterbury, CT - Post University point guard Isaiah Holmes was named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Defensive Player of the Week after his performance in a win over Florida Southern on December 17.

In the 87-83 win over the Mocs, who were the No. 16 ranked team in the country, Holmes had six rebounds and three steals to go with 16 points and six assists.

His steals and rebounds were both the second most he had this season. He has had seven steals in his last two games. He leads the team in steals with 19, ranking him second in the CACC.

Holmes has also scored in double digits in ten of the Eagles' 11 games.

Post returns to action on December 29 at home against Assumption.
