Rindge, N.H. - The Post University men's soccer season came to an end in a 2-0 loss to the University of Charleston on Thursday evening on the campus of Franklin Pierce University in the Round of 16 in the NCAA Division II Tournament
The Eagles finish their season 16-4-2. The 16 wins ties the program record with the 2019 team that also advanced to the Round of 16. The Eagles also won the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament title for the fourth time in as many seasons they've played and won the regular season title for the second consecutive season.
The game looked to be heading to halftime in a scoreless tie until Charleston scored in the 42nd minute on a goal from Lewis Redding who took a shot from the top of the six yard box.
In the 73rd minute, the Golden Eagles scored one more on a volley from Connor Hartwell.
Soren Jensen stopped five shots in the game, and finished 11-1-2 on the season in goal.

Finn Lanser each had one.
Charleston (20-1-0), the No. 2 seed in Super Region 1 will now face No. 1 seed Franklin Pierce (21-0-1) on Friday.
