Middlebury, CT - The Post University women's tennis team defeated Chestnut Hill, 5-2 on Wednesday in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play at Edgewood Bath and Tennis Center.

The Eagles are now 9-3 overall an 4-3 in the CACC. The win completes a season sweep of the Griffins (7-4, 4-4 CACC).

Post took the doubles point as Annunciata De-Souza and Micaela Rosignuolo won doubles no. 1, 6-4. Megan Lambardt and Natalia Gonzalez Ramos won doubles no. 2, 7-5.

In singles, the Eagles swept 3-6 as Rosignuolo won 6-4, 6-2. Oceane Mallevre won 6-2, 1-6, 7-5.

Nina Langenfeld won her singles no. 5 match, 6-3, 6-1 and Gonzalez Ramos won her match, 6-2, 6-4 in singles no. 6.

Up next, the Eagles host Goldey-Beacom on October 14 at 3 p.m.
