Middlebury, CT - The Post University women's tennis team defeated Dominican, 5-2 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match on Monday afternoon at Edgewood Bath and Tennis.
With the win, the Eagles sweep the season series and are now 8-3 on the year and 3-3 in the CACC.
Post won the doubles point as
Annunciata De-Souza and
Micaela Rosignuolo won 6-1 in no. 1. In no. 2,
Nina Langenfeld and
Oceane Mallevre won, 6-2.
Mallevre and Rosignuolo both won three-set thrillers. Mallevre won 4-6, 6-1, 6-1 in singles no. 3 while Rosignuolo won 6-3, 2-6, 6-1.Â
Four of the five singles matches went to three sets. The lone two set match saw Langenfeld win singles no. 5, 6-0, 6-1.
Up next, the Eagles host Chestnut Hill on Oct. 12 at 3 p.m.
