Waterbury, Conn. – The Post University women's soccer team lost a 2-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match to Dominican on Wednesday afternoon at LaMoy Field.
The loss puts the Eagles at 2-3 on the season and 1-1 in the CACC.
Dominican got on the board in the 35th minute on a cross from Jada Jiles to Victoria Bonner to give the Chargers a 1-0 lead. The Chargers went into the half with the lead.
The second half stayed scoreless for the first 35 minutes of the second half before the Chargers scored in the 82nd minute on a goal from Danai Chimedza.
The Eagles had six shots on the day, led by Katharina Kuhne with two.
Claire Said, who started the second half, had five saves for the Eagles.
