South Burlington, VT. – The Post University women's hockey team lost a 1-0 game to Saint Michael's on Saturday during the second and final game of their weekend series.
The Eagles move to 3-14 on the season, while the Purple Knights are now 2-11.
Saint Michael's scored the lone goal of the game 39 seconds into the contest as Meeghan Kennard scored off a rebound near the left post.
Kaitlyn Daly had 29 saves on the day for the Eagles, including 13 in the first period.
Post had 36 shots on goal, with Elle McKenna leading the way with six. Jenna Abeyta chipped in with four. Abeyta also won eight faceoffs to pace the Eagles.
Up next, the Eagles stay on the road and head to Dartmouth for a two-game series on December 10 and 11 at 7 p.m. and 4 p.m., respectively.
