Westfield, Mass. – The Post University men's ice hockey team dropped a 2-1 non-conference game to Westfield State on Tuesday evening.

Kieran Gardner added his first goal of the season on assist from
Nick Brewer on a power play.
It was Gardner's first goal of the season.
Westfield State scored in the first and third periods on goals from Paul Frys and Jake Ratcliffe, respectively.
The Eagles outshot the Owls, 39-33.
Brandon Brown stopped 31 shots, including 14 in the first period.
