Wilmington, De. - The Post University women's volleyball team lost a 3-0 (14-25, 11-25, 22-25) match to Wilmington in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) tournament quarterfinals on Tuesday evening.
Lydimar Soto led the Eagles with nine kills on the day to go along with a block and a service ace.Â
Down 2-0, the Eagles jumped rallied from an 18-12 deficit to take a 19-18 lead as Soto had four kills during the stretch. The Eagles would go up by as much as 21-19 before the Wildcats scored six of the final eight points of the match.
In set one, the Eagles - ranked third in the CACC South Division had an early 5-3 lead before the Wildcats - seeded second in the North - scored the next six points which they would not relinquish the rest of the way.
Aniya Goodman had two kills in the set.
The second set saw the Wildcats take a 10-3 lead and put the set out of reach early.
Madelynn Boop and Soto each had two kills during the set.
Post finished its season at 10-20.
