Raleigh Scores In Men's Hockey Loss To Stonehill

Braintree, Ma. – Junior Jake Raleigh scored the lone goal in the Post University men's hockey team's 5-1 loss in its final regular season game of the season on Saturday evening at Thayer Academy in a Northeast10 (NE10) game.
 
The Eagles finish up their season at 5-19-2 overall and 1-16-1 in the NE10.
 
After giving up two goals in the first to Stonehill's Ryan Meade and Jack Hall, the Eagles cut their deficit in half at the 11:23 mark of the second period for his tenth goal of the season on an assist from junior Evan Lugo and senior Lucas Smith to make it a 2-1 game. Raleigh finished the season as the Eagles second leading goal scorer on the season behind senior Tyler Hackett who had 12.
 
However, the Skyhawks scored one more in the second and two in third from Connor Jewett, Kayser Raei and Brendan Nehmer to close out the game.
 
Raleigh finished the game with eight shots on goal. Lugo had five.
 
Sophomore Joseph McLeod finished with 33 saves, his second-highest total of the season.
 
Hackett finished the regular season with 28 points to lead the Eagles. Lugo led the team in assists with 17.
