Philadelphia, Pa. – In a battle of two of the top teams in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), the Post University women's basketball team fell to University of the Sciences, 67-50 on Saturday afternoon.

The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for the Eagles, who are now 11-4 on the season and 6-2 in CACC play. They remain in first-place in the CACC North Division.

USciences took a nine-point lead during the second quarter – its biggest of the half – but the Eagles were able to rally, sinking four of their final six free throws, trailing just 31-26 in at the break. Sophomore Sha'Raya Haines led the Eagles with four points in the quarter, all on free-throws.

After the Devils opened up the second half with a 12-2 run and take a 43-28, Post bounced back, closing out the half with a 9-3 run, which included three-pointers by Williams and classmate Hannah Benac. The Eagles wouldn't get any closer than eight points the rest of the way as USciences led by as much as 20 points at 63-43 in the fourth quarter.
